well.. i stumbled upon this song which was quite often on the radio during my growing up years (that would be the 1980ish to 90ish)...it makes me feel a bit patriotic.. lols.. and it brings me back to when there was no internet, and the tv shows starts about 4pm and ends around midnight.. or was it 2am.. static all the way in between.. hahaha..except for weekends (Sat and Sun) where the shows would start in the morning.. and the choices of channels were only 3.. (RTM1, RTM2 and TV3) and i'd make sure i am in front of the tv by 5.30pm to watch cartoons.. there was the Jem, The Jetsons, The Flintstones, Macross, Transformers, Bravestarr, Denver the Last Dinosaur, Fantastic max, GI JOE, Thundercats, Galaxy Rangers, Scooby-Doo, Beetlejuice, X-Men,  Care Bears, My Little Pony and lots lots more... lols.. birngs back the happiness a kid would have.. where all the stress of worldy cares are so far far away.. what a JOY.. (~,~)

enough about tv shows.. lets talk more about this song and what it does to me.. it really inspires and makes me a proud SABAHAN.. for we are kind and calm people.. urm.. well.. we were.. hahaha..the people are changing, slowly, but its definite.. probably due to progress.. more work+less relax time+too much time in traffic=stressed mean people.. hahahaha.. lols.. i have my times.. but for now.. i am kind and calm.. and proud.. there is so much JOY to be had... and i hope there would be more to come.. cheers to you.. and may you have your share of JOY today.. another year full of happiness and JOY (hopefully (~,~)...)

WOW!!! Just two blogs last year? Did not realize last year was an extremely busy year..in addition to having my HTC Desire HD.. (which actually kept me busy with apps etc.. haha..)  and last November 2011, i bought a Blackberry Curve 9630, just for the sake of having it.. what a JOY.. lol.. wonder what this year would bring.. well, Chinese New Year is just around the corner.. (coming Monday, 23rd Jan 2012 to be exact) it is the coming of the DRAGON.. woohoo.. hopefully the Dragon would be kind to me (~,~) and bring prosperity and JOY ..

Aiyahh.. wanna blog but this colleague from the other office is chatting chatting away.. haha.. have to talk to her for a bit.. lol.. kind of lost my line of thoughts...

The movie i watched on New Years Day.. TRON and TRON:Legacy.. (~o~) .. back to back.. it was cool.. "END OF LINE" .. muahahahaha.. programmers would be able to relate i am sure.. especially programmers of old (umm.. i think the term my sister told me was "dinosaurs") :P .. i dont know why, but TRON really facinates me.. i remember watching it as a kid.. i was really.. umm.. what is the right word.. "enchanted"? "fascinated"? or something like that.. hehe.. i remember how excited i was when i heard they were gonna have TRON : Legacy.. after years of waiting.. yes i am a TRON fan... owh yeah..(not a TRON fanatic, just a fan fan (~,~) )



So i do wish you a Happy Chinese New Year.. or if u prefer.. Happy China Lunar New Year .. which ever makes you happy.. and Prosperity and Happiness for this coming year.. have JOY..

busy busy bee busy...

wah.. i have not blogged for months.. i wanted to, but i just don't have the time to even open my blog. life has been quite hectic. and its all thanks to that one particular project. (i think it inappropriate to mention that project title). 

anyway, here i am. finally. to share my Life of Joy. if it has any more Joy left in it. :( .. boo hoo...

happy things that has happened (for Joy's sake):-

• 1 - my baby reads 3 letter words :D .. (me proud mama!!!)
• 2 - i got a new smartphone - HTC Desire HD (which i can blog longer just talking about how i adore it, but not gonna do that now, not the time)
• 3 - pay raise somewhere mid year
• 4 - being a busy bee (yes, i honestly love working, i live for it.. well not really to the extreme, but i love working.. haha)
• 5 - hubby bought me a PS3 for my birthday (yippiee!!!)
• 6 - other happy things that happen which i cannot recall at this particular moment.. LOL

sad things that happened :(  :-

• 1 - my grandma died
• 2 - my hubby gonna be transfered soon (really long distance, again.. boo hoo)
• 3 - hubby is the one that spends more time on the PS3 than i do..
• 4 -  i dont know if there is a no. 4 .. (cant help doing this, lol)

however, good or bad, i do still live my life as best i can.. for it is a life of Joy.. ;) 

can i be your age?

That was the suprise question my baby asked me this morning as she was having her bath.. haha.. she was saying that she is 5 and asked me if i am 5 or 6.. hehe.. i told her i am 31 and she asks me if she can be my age.. well.. i was astounded but told her that she will soon be my age without realizing it.. lols.. she asked what age her papa is, i said her papa is the same age as me, and she said that it could not be since he is much taller and bigger than me.. hahaha.. (~,~) but i told her me and her papa were in the same class during school.. lols

it is such a JOY to realize my girl is growing and having such thoughts.. 

my baby's 1st day at kindie...

oowhh.. my baby has grown up.. haha.. her 1st day of orientation week at her kindie.. she looks so adorable.. but what mother wouldn't see her child as adorable.. lols. well.. she woke up early, took her bath, i tied her hair.. and put her in her uniform.. adorable.

at her classroom, the first seat she wanted was the one where the table is filled with toys, unbeknownest.. the toys were actually booked by the boy beside that table.. of course those toys do not belong to anyone, but anyway, my baby has no real evil fighting spirit, so she just let the boy take all the toys away.. she had a sad look in her eyes.. i couldn't bear it.. i took her away from that seat and proposed to her another seat which she took happily... lucky at the new table, the other kids there were not so bad. so she got to play with the toys...hehe.

evil evil me for blogging this.. haha.. but i couldn't help it.. i know, i know.. i have to let her do her own fighting or what ever it is.. but i hope she wouldn't be a lil' ms evil later....

well, her teacher took a liking to her, i hope it is genuine. i guess its normal for a mother to feel this way, wanting their children to be safe and sound always, and in good hands. in GODs hand more like.

well, back to my baby's 1st day at school...at one point the teacher asked her to help pick up the pencils distributed earlier.. so she was picking up what she saw.. and then there was a basket of pencils on one of the tables, she took it, at the same time another boy also took hold, they both wanted to keep it, she didnt want to let go, and so did the boy.. haha.. i can see she was getting frustrated.. a teacher saw and took the basket from them.. i didnt have a look at the boy, but my baby's eyes were red.. it got me sad. i wonder if i presurre her too much to be good.. to the extent that if she doesnt, she would be upset. i know my baby is upset and wanted to throw a tantrum, luckily she didnt..

hmmm.. i do hope all goes well... we will see tomorrow, her 2nd day at her kindie...

thats what my Baby would say, and she is adorable.. haha.. or if she is just done being sad and crying, she would be saying "Mama, make a funny face!", and i would make some (*_@) face and she would laugh and laugh and laugh..

now that is a true JOY.. hehe.

there are times when she could be quite an imp, doing things her way and trying to get away with stuff like throwing her toys all over the room and not picking it up.. she would be so happy is her Papa is around, so she can be the "Princess" that she is.. hahhaa. and get away with almost everything.. lols.. i dont really mind, but its just that sometimes, i do get lazy.. muahahhaha... therefore, i would need her to compensate my laziness..

yeah, i know, "OMG, What kind of Mother are you?!!!!".. lols.. dont care, thats how i am.. my energy levels nowadays are getting really really really low.. and i have to accept the fact that i cant be a superhero.. (as if.. muahhaahhaa)..

I ♥ TrueBlood

I just heard yesterday that the last episode for Season 3 of True Blood was just aired on Sunday (if I am not mistaken).. Well i have watched Ep 1 and Ep 2.. Oh my... ERIC!!! He is like soooo Handsome.. yeah, i am sure there are a lot of Bill's fan out there, Bill is cool and all..i of course can not deny that fact, but my "heart" lies with Eric.. yummmmie... hahaha.. of course in the beginning i was a Bill fan, but as Season 2 was coming towards its end, i was slowly converted to an ERIC fan.. i think its because he is soo SEXY.. yes, he is.. hahahha (~,~)

I am so much a True Blood fan that i have not even watch the Twilight Saga (i have seen Twilight, the first one though, it was becoz of my sister's insistence that i should give it a try), and i am so not a fan or that Patterson boy, but i would consider the werewolf boy.. Lautner, if i were to watch it i think it would be because of that werewolf... hahaha... yeah, being a girl, i do admit that i have my weaknesses.. cool, handsome, tall etc..the usual.. the character itself is also a criteria, dont forget..

However, i just cant figure out why are there girls out there who are crazy about the Patterson boy.. he is probably not my taste, even in the movie he looks so like a LOSER.. maybe it was the character written.. hahahhaha... it sucks.. yeay.. i should watch that Vampire Suck movie.. maybe that would be a better watch..

Regardless.. i ♥ Eric... hahahhaa.. in True Blood.. i think i'll go hunting for the DVD then, since the last Ep has been aired.. YEAY YEAY!!!!! (~,~) Cheers and GBU †

Fruit Season (? its musim buah buahan in malay..lols)

The season is almost over.. this fruiting season. now my favourite local fruits are rambutan, manggis, langsat. there is also the durian and dahit which have their fans and non-fans (lols) and also which can make an extreme fan gain weight in a week if eaten everyday for a week. i am blaming my current weight gain on the overdose of durians. thought its not exactly my fave fruit..hehehhe.. but then again, i love it. and this season we have durians for FREE.. the best things in life are FREE, are they not? (~,~) i dont dare start on the rambutans, because i recall the last fruiting season i got really really sick eating a whole bag of it on my own... that was not a good idea.

a few weeks ago (that was on the 17.July.2010) my Savo brought me to the Kebun.. hehe.. for the main purpose of getting durians.. we wait for them. thats how durians are taken, not by cutting it off the tree, by waiting patiently.. (~,~) hehehhe, it was fun and a great experience.. FYI the Kadazan term is MOKIUUNG... i think. but i do hope we can do it again next fruiting season.. it was cool to wait for the durians and picking them up (we can know when to go by the sound it makes when it falls) .. hehehe.. we would get at least 5 or 6 at one time.. yum yum..

however, this fruit season is coming to its end..sob sob.. but then in a few more months the season would be back.. yeay.. hehehhe... its so wonderful to be living here (~,~)

The Sorcerer's Apprentice.. my personal review..

I watched the movie last night and this is what i think of it:~~~

I have been typing and retyping, phrasing and rephrasing my words but none seem to fit best. I just really like the show of MAGIC in the movie, and the ending wasnt the usual 'let-down' i was expecting. but of course the ending was quite predictable since it is a happy ending. The storyline was nice.. and thats just it...nice.

The casting was okay i guess.. i love Nicholas Cage in there, i think he is the only REAL character there, sorry other actors/actresses. But overall the movie was great, my baby loved it..but i cant help wondering, if only they casted someone else as Dave or maybe made 'Dave' look cooler in the movie.. he was just tooo nerdy and sooo not cool enough.. And 'Becky' is just missing something. Sparkle maybe? or maybe the young un's cant seem to be at par with Mr. Balthazar. Now thats a cool guy and he made his character the coolest.. hehe.. is he supposed to be the star? lols.. i thought the movie is about the The Sorcerer's Apprentice.. LOLS

However...A Jerry Bruckheimer is always nice (~,~) regardless what i say here. The movie still awed me.

And my favourite part in the movie is where Dave shows Becky his creation playing the One Republic song Secrets... i just lurve that part...

Live Life Love...

According to the dictionary  i have here (iFinger)... these words are defined as the following (in the sense i would like to discuss):

Live - live not dead or inanimate; living


Life - the state of being alive as a human being. (it also means: the condition that distinguishes animals and plants from inorganic matter, including the capacity for growth,  reproduction, functional activity, and continual change preceding death)


Love - an intense feeling of deep affection

Therefore, with these words i guess Life should be meaningful if we could Live it with Love.. hehe..

But how about those who Live without Love? I am sure we cant say that their lives are not meaningful. But Life goes on and regardless on whether they have Love in their Life or not, they still Live..

Pity those who thinks and believes that Love is essential to Life.. pity me.. for what is JOY without Love? haha.. Different people have different ways to Love, i guess. And the Love i am having now is probably not the kind i know and was familiar with. But Life is still worth to Live. I have a new kind of Love now. The Love of a parent to their children. Now that is a special kind of Love.


I can still remember the first time i set eyes on my beautiful baby girl (urmm.. she is 4 yrs old now, haha) I had this wonderful yet extreme feeling for her, it was different from all others, probably its because of the pain i went through during labour.. the pain i had to have, i wanted it natural all the way.. yeah.. haha.

As i look at my baby i knew that she is my new Life. Its like having a breath of new air to me. I guess all 'real' mothers would feel that. The feeling was like i would do anything in my power to make sure she would Live a happy happly Life, and i would try to give her all the Love i can. I knew there and then that nothing in this world could ever be the same again. And i was right.

So to all mothers.. I wish you Happiness in your new found Love. And to mothers-to-be.. be ready for the unexpected JOY (~,~)

another day in ... wanna talk about my HTC HD Mini

at the office.. of course, where else could i be.. unless i am on holiday or i am outstation (please dont mind my caps or no caps words.. i am too lazy to put up caps) or unless i am in a meeting.

i bought a new phone the other day (19th June 2010 to be exact.. lols). it was a HTC HD MINI. it is my pride and JOY now.. hahaha.. i can twit with it, surf internet, fb, play games.. and it has a 5mp camera.. no front camera for video calls though. but then again, its not like i need video calls all the time. i still have my SE W705 (pink colour mind you) that does have the front camera, so if my Hubby dearest needs to see his family, that means me and baby, he can always call that phone (which he does not.. hahahaa).

Lets not swerve too far away from my main topic here, my HD Mini.. so now i can send and receive emails and i can update my fb profile and i can even ym with it.. its just absolutely perfect (~,,~) yeay yeay... i love the animated weather screen it has, when its raining, sunny etc. perfect for me.. sumore it has gps.. not a-gps which would depend on network availability. and it has garmin so i would never be lost again..muahahhaha.. i wish (~,,~) .. now that i can connect to the internet at any time (which is way cool for me, sad isnt it) my Hubby suggested me to try out forex. i am still looking for the application for forex. which reminds me, yeah.. i do have my eyes on iphone 3gs or iphone 4, however, i cannot afford those yet, its just too damn expensive and i have all the basics i need with my HD Mini (~,,~) somemore, my sister has an iphone 3gs and i realized i cant live having everything laid out at once. i am for one a person who likes to group things in folders, the iphone 3gs lays out everything fair n square.. lols... my HD Mini has folders.. hahhaa... i prefer that, so if i wanna look for games, i go to the games folder.. i dont know how to move items in and out of the folders yet.. damn.. but i will look for the way..

i guess that is enough of me talking about my HTC HD Mini.. i love this phone.. (~,,~)

Good morning to all.

To be honest with you, I am feeling a bit awkward blogging. This first blog is like an opening speech. An opening speech to what? I am not sure...this may be a first or this may be the last.. (~,,~) < now that is a fanged face.. lols.

I do like conversing but then sometimes there are certain things that we just cant converse. Maybe I can just blurt things out here, but then again maybe not. There are so many things going through the mind, but then again the mind is empty.. hahhaa.. yeah.. I can be weird.
